The Triangle Global Health Consortium is an interdisciplinary collaboration of academic, governmental, business and nonprofit organizations working together to establish North Carolina as an international center for research, training, education, advocacy and business development dedicated to improving the health of the world’s communities.

Wall Street Journal Reports a Shift in Global Health Strategy by the Obama Administration

"Strategy Shifts on Global Health: HIV/AIDS Remains Priority, but New Emphasis Is Planned for Tropical Diseases and Efficient Care

The Obama administration is expected to propose in its fiscal 2011 budget Monday new funding to combat preventable and tropical diseases, malnutrition and other conditions afflicting the world's poor, as part of a strategy to broaden its approach to global health."
